Stradivarius is to open a new Paris flagship. This autumn, the Inditex group’s youth-oriented brand will open at 126 Rue de Rivoli, in the building that once housed a C&A Paris flagship.
Stradivarius joins Japanese retailer Muji in the BPM property project led by property company Redevco. The imposing Haussmannian building is currently undergoing renovation, and this autumn will be home to a new Muji concept spanning 2,500 square metres. The second tenant of the retail space is none other than the world’s leading fashion retailer. The Galician group has set its sights on the premises to open a Stradivarius of over 1,000 square metres- its largest store in France.
The owner, Redevco, has initiated a complete overhaul of the building to breathe new life into the 13,000-square-metre complex. Dubbed BPM (for Beats Per Minute), the project, entrusted to architect Franklin Azzi, goes far beyond a simple façade renovation. The future Muji flagship will span three floors, but it will not be the only new feature: the building will also house a 57-room Radisson Collection hotel, high-end offices (the LVMH group is reportedly in the running for part of the space) and, more unexpectedly, an urban logistics hub in the basement. Redevco says it was also keen to preserve the spirit of the site by retaining a listed 13th-century crypt and opening a landscaped rooftop accessible to the public, offering panoramic views across the Parisian rooftops.
Last year, the chain’s revenue exceeded €3 billion (nearly €39.8 billion for the group as a whole), with sales up almost 13%, while its retail floorspace increased by only 8,000 square metres to reach 328,000 square metres, with 834 stores at the end of January 2026, 17% of them franchised. Although the brand expanded its sales area, it has one store fewer than a year earlier- evidence that, for Stradivarius, Inditex is also betting on larger, more productive footprints.
