The company has taken a majority stake in UAE-based hospitality operator Solutions Group as part of its investment-led growth strategy aimed at accelerating international expansion.
The transaction brings together two UAE-founded companies operating across the lifestyle hospitality sector.
Solutions Group contributes 15 established venues across nightlife, dining and entertainment, strengthening Sunset Hospitality Group’s global platform, which spans nearly 100 venues across 26 international markets.
Solutions Group’s portfolio includes brands such as Asia Asia, Lock, Stock & Barrel, Ula, The 305, Wavehouse, Papas, Central and En Fuego. The concepts are recognised for strong brand equity, scalable formats and broad customer appeal.
As part of the agreement, Solutions Group’s senior leadership team including its managing partners will remain in place and continue to oversee the portfolio. The structure is designed to maintain operational continuity while leveraging Sunset Hospitality Group’s scale, capital and international reach to support further growth.
The combined platform is expected to enhance market reach and accelerate geographic expansion by integrating complementary strengths across operations, development and brand management. The acquisition follows a series of milestones for Sunset Hospitality Group, including increased investment from Goldman Sachs in April 2025 and its investment in Maximal Concept Limited in August 2024.
Antonio Gonzalez, Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer, SHG, said: “Bringing Solutions Group into the SHG family reflects our commitment to investing in operators with proven creativity and international potential. Their portfolio attracts millions of guests each year and has a strong foundation for future expansion. This acquisition reflects our long-term growth strategy of building a global portfolio through selective investments in exceptional operators.”
