Sunset Hospitality Group Expands Abu Dhabi Portfolio With Three Yas Island Openings

Sunset Hospitality Group will open three new venues on Yas Island as it accelerates its expansion across Abu Dhabi and prepares to reveal what it describes as a major new island community project.

The Dubai-founded hospitality company will launch its homegrown Italian concept, ISOLA Ristorante, at Yas Marina during the fourth quarter of 2026.

Ora Verde, operated through its Solutions Group business, is scheduled to open at Yas Bay during the same period

MOOD, Sunset Hospitality Group’s dining and entertainment concept, will follow at Yas Marina in 2027.

The openings will expand a portfolio that currently comprises five Abu Dhabi venues: SUSHISAMBA, Black Tap, Asia Asia, Central and Lock, Stock and Barrel.

Sunset Hospitality Group said it was also in advanced negotiations for several further projects in the emirate.

Concepts under consideration include Attiko, its rooftop restaurant and nightlife venue, and Korean restaurant Hanu, led by Seoul-born chef Kyung Soo Moon.

The prospective pipeline also includes Hong Kong-founded Chinese restaurant Mott 32 and Signor Sassi, the London Italian institution launched in 1984. Sunset Hospitality Group and San Carlo Group brought Signor Sassi to Dubai in 2023.
