Dubai-based Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) is accelerating its global expansion, announcing 12 new deals in the latest quarter and revealing plans to open 55 additional venues.
The hospitality group’s strategy is to broaden beyond restaurants, nightlife and hotels into social gaming and entertainment. Sunset Hospitality Group now operates 112 venues across 48 cities in 27 countries, marking more than 150 per cent growth over the past three years.
Its latest pipeline spans 13 markets, from Vietnam and Singapore to Italy and Bahrain, as the group seeks to cement its position as one of the region’s fastest-growing lifestyle hospitality operators.
Over the next three years, SHG expects Southeast Asia and Europe to become two of its strongest growth markets.
In Singapore, the group is building on the success of METT Singapore and SUSHISAMBA Singapore by introducing Madison House, Hanu and Art, while continuing to evaluate further opportunities.
Vietnam also features prominently in the strategy, with several new venues planned for Phu Quoc this year and METT Da Nang scheduled to open next year.
Europe is another major focus, with the company recently opening CASA METT Sitges in Spain and signing a new hotel in Albania.
A key milestone will come this autumn with the launch of METT Milan Torre Velasca, located within one of Milan’s most recognisable architectural landmarks.
The development will feature 72 luxury suites alongside SUSHISAMBA, which opened earlier this year, as well as the group’s Italian concept MIA and private members’ club Madison House.
