Tesco could in the not to distant future be saying: ‘every robot helps’ The supermarket chain is trailing delivery robots in a technology push. The supermarket has already cut many jobs across the UK in an attempt to save money and stay competitive with other supermarkets.
A collaboration with US based company, Starship, which makes autonomous delivery devices which can carry items in a four mile radius. Tesco is currently testing the use of the devices at its Milton Keynes stores which allow local customers to place an order via the app, then presumably a delivery robot will delivery the shopping.
