The hotel in Belfast has undergone an 18-month refurbishment and is on course to reopen in February next year as a boutique, four-star hotel.
The Malone is located in BT9, close to Lisburn and Malone Road and is housed across Victorian townhouses. An 18-month refurbishment has so far seen the hotel’s 103 rooms, bar and restaurant transformed, including the 240-guest ballroom. The final phase set to complete early next year.
The Malone has partnered with independent UK hotel management company Focus Hotels for the relaunch. Gareth Macklin, Director of The Malone, said: “This is the most exciting chapter yet in The Malone’s story. We’ve always been proud of our heritage and our people, but this transformation takes everything to a new level. We’re looking forward to welcoming back familiar faces and introducing a whole new audience to the scale, style, and service of The Malone.”
