Themed Culinary Experiences to be Presented in Macau

As Chinese cuisine continues to expand into the contemporary realm, what truly moves diners is not only the refinement of culinary craftsmanship, but the profound dialogue that different cultures create across time and geography.

In February 2026, Pearl Dragon, the Cantonese‑Chaozhou flavour restaurant at Studio City Macau, will present “One Origin, Perfect Resonance – Cantonese Sophistication Meets Chaozhou Mastery”, a themed collaboration dinner rooted in the origins of Cantonese and Chaozhou flavours and their shared culinary soul. Meanwhile, Yí, the innovative Chinese restaurant at City of Dreams Macau, will offer a themed collaboration dinner entitled “An Innovative Chinese Feast: Spring Awakening”, which will connect the Lingnan and Jiangnan regions of China and capture the beauty of seasonal harmony. Together, these two themed feasts form a dual showcase that outlines the multifaceted landscape of contemporary Chinese dining. Seating is limited; guests may make reservations by calling the restaurants now.

Reopened last July with a brand-new interior design and menu, Michelin‑starred Pearl Dragon will collaborate with Chaoshan Taste Zhu Hai Restaurant, helmed by contemporary Chaozhou cuisine master Zhang Xinmin and honoured with Black Pearl two diamonds for eight consecutive years to present a cultural feast combining Cantonese and Chaozhou excellence on 5-6 February. This event will be the first showcase of Pearl Dragon’s new concept, “Cantonese Sophistication Meets Chaozhou Mastery” and also a flavour‑driven interpretation rooted in Cantonese cuisine and infused with Chaozhou soul, thus creating layers of contrast and resonance during the gastronomic experience.

On 6-7 February, another culinary dialogue themed around the beginning of spring will be presented at City of Dreams Macau, another integrated resort run and operated by Melco Resorts & Entertainment. The Black Pearl one-diamond innovative Chinese restaurant Yí will collaborate with Jie Xiang Lou, the Michelin‑starred and Black Pearl two-diamond Jiangnan creative cuisine restaurant from Hangzhou, to present an eight‑course seasonal feast entitled “An Innovative Chinese Feast: Spring Awakening”, that will pay tribute to seasonality and creativity.
