Tora Tora to Land at First Avenue Mall

A new ramen house is set to open in Dubai’s First Avenue Mall, featuring a walk-in dining concept and a focus on authentic Japanese street culture.

Opening later this year at Dubai’s First Avenue Mall in Jumeirah, the restaurant draws inspiration from modern Japanese flavours and street culture, although it promises more than just ramen. Guests will find colourful, Japanese-inspired interiors and a lively atmosphere. The main attraction, however, will be the freshly made ramen, prepared with quality ingredients and care.

Much of the menu will include comforting ramen bowls, Japanese street food favourites, small plates and fun drinks and desserts. The full menu is yet to be disclosed, but Tora Tora aims to make every visit welcoming and memorable.

Tora Tora will operate entirely on a walk-in basis, with no reservations required. The approach reflects the concept’s spontaneous spirit, allowing guests to drop in whenever the craving strikes and experience the restaurant at their own pace.

“Our vision for Tora Tora is to create a ramen destination that celebrates authentic flavours, careful craftsmanship and the vibrant energy of Japanese street culture. From the broths and noodles to the overall atmosphere, every detail is being thoughtfully developed to offer guests an experience that feels welcoming, exciting and full of character. We look forward to opening our doors in Jumeirah and introducing the community to Tora Tora,” said Hironori Gouda, Consultant Chef at Tora Tora.

The name Tora Tora, translating to “tiger” in Japanese, encapsulates the restaurant’s ethos of strength and confidence. This spirit informs both the design and operational style of the venue, contributing to a unique dining environment.
