Japan’s celebrated yakitori chain TORIKIZOKU opens its sixth Hong Kong branch today at Grand Plaza in Mong Kok, injecting authentic izakaya charm and exciting novelties into the heart of Kowloon.
It is the first Hong Kong branch to introduce convenient digital-tablet ordering as practised in Japan, while inviting new dishes, innovative flavours and speciality drinks are crafted in collaboration with the Japanese team – all reinforcing TORIKIZOKU’s 40 year philosophy of delivering Osaka’s lively izakaya culture at accessible prices.
A vibrant space filled with warm hospitality for convivial communal dining, the new Mong Kok izakaya also steps up as a dedicated late night haven – extending its opening hours on weekends and holidays to further enliven the energetic rhythm of this district that never sleeps.
TORIKIZOKU Mong Kok shares the joy of its arrival with customers by launching exclusive offers from 4 to 18 August 2026. Diners ordering Chicken Skin Chips or French Fries with Butter Sauce (HK$29.90 each) will receive an extra 50 per cent bonus portion. Ramping up the fun, a Claw Machine offers the chance to win plushies – the branch exclusive Torikki Mascot, the Signature Chicken Meatball, or the MEGA Super Large Beer soft toy (available for a limited time while stocks last). Two tokens to play are awarded to each diner at the Mong Kok branch who shares their experience on social media.
In another innovative move, TORIKIZOKU Hong Kong will debut its Mobile App in September 2026, offering the convenience of online queuing as well as dining rewards and sharing news of brand events, menus and store information. Members can earn points through consumption to redeem limited-edition gifts and offers, enjoy exclusive birthday-month privileges and claim rewards by completing limited-time tasks. Different tiers of membership allow loyal customers to advance and nurture their own Torikki Mascot, gradually unlocking more privileges.
