UK Tech Brand Nothing Opens First India Store

Nothing has opened its first retail store in India as the UK-based consumer electronics company expands its physical retail footprint. Located in Bengaluru, the 5032sqft site spans two floors with design drawing inspiration from 1970s assembly lines to reflect the brand’s industrial aesthetics. The store will offer smartphones and audio devices from Nothing, as well as products from its sub-brand CMF, which targets mass-market consumers. Beyond retail, the store features a content studio, coffee shop, seating areas, and a dedicated workshop space for events. “We wanted to create a fun space,” said Carl Pei, co-founder and CEO of Nothing. “It’s kind of inspired by all the parts that are related to the brand. For instance, the factory: If you buy a product, there’s like a production line where the product comes out. We also show machines where phones go through testing, like USB port testing or water resistance testing. So we just wanted to bring that world together.” Nothing said additional retail locations are planned, with stores scheduled to open in the US and Japan.
