Uncle Giuseppe’s Continues National Expansion

The East Coast specialty grocer, Uncle Giuseppe’s, is opening two new stores, including its first in the Keystone State.

Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace plans to open a new location in Moorestown, New Jersey and another in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, its first location in the state. Both stores will open in the third quarter of 2027.

“Pennsylvania has been part of our growth plans for a while and King of Prussia is a great place for us to start,” said Carl DelPrete, CEO and Co-Founder of Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace. “It’s a strong market and it gives us an opportunity to introduce Uncle Giuseppe’s to a lot of new customers.”

The company, which is based in Melville, New York has been successful in New Jersey – the catalyst that encouraged the company to move deeper into The Garden State.

“New Jersey has been very good to us and we continue to see opportunities there,” DelPrete added. “Moorestown gives us a chance to reach customers in South Jersey and continue growing in a market where people already know Uncle Giuseppe’s. We think it’s a very good fit for what we do.”
