The Row is making a permanent presence in the French capital. Founded in 2006 by sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley
Olsen , former child stars of American television, the luxury brand for men and women is planning to open its first boutique in Paris, just a stone’s throw from the chic rue Saint-Honoré. The store will be located at the intersection of rue d’Alger and rue du Mont Thabor, in the first district of the capital, according to the statutes of the company The Row France.
The New York brand is already anchored in the capital, not with a boutique but thanks to its French headquarters, located in a private mansion on the rue des Capucines, where it presented its latest men’s collection during a fashion show last June. The Row has also been present in Paris through pop-up stores, without yet taking the step towards a permanent presence.
Currently, the brand only has four stores under its name in the world. Three are located in the United States, in New York, Amagansett (in the Hamptons) and Los Angeles. The last one is the only one in Europe, in London.
The two designers, who are very discreet, cultivate a minimalist style with delicate details for their brand, in keeping with the current trend of quiet luxury.
