Wingstop UK, the ultimate experience for iconic wing flavours to enjoy with family and friends, opens today in Uxbridge, marking the 22nd site in London for the brand.
Located in a prime spot in The Chimes shopping centre in Uxbridge, Wingstop UK celebrated the opening by giving away free chicken wings to the first 100 customers through the door. The new 3,000sq ft site hosts 62 covers and adds 65 jobs to the local area.
Alongside serving up its signature wings and bold flavours, the site boasts modern and vibrant interiors complete with curated playlists and customised ordering options, bringing a unique dining experience to the local Uxbridge community. Diners can also choose from milkshakes, freestyle drinks or Camden Town Beer, as well as a churro selection for dessert.
Having launched in 2018, Wingstop UK will have 57 sites by the end of this year, with ambitions to reach 200 within the next five years. Last month, Wingstop UK earned its spot as one of the top 10 most-loved eating-out brands in the UK, according to Savanta’s 2024 rankings which surveys over 96,000 consumers. It was named second in fast casual dining brands and seventh in the top 10, one of the youngest brands within the top 10 by some margin.
Wingstop UK’s continued popularity is driven by its standout product and unique marketing approach that has garnered a loyal following from a younger demographic. Fans resonate with Wingstop UK’s ties to music, fashion and sports, which has been created via authentic brand collaborations, partnerships and events.
Chris Sherriff, CEO at Wingstop UK said: “We’re excited to keep growing across London, following the success of our recent openings in Ealing, Whitechapel, Crawley and Stratford. We’re looking forward to making a home in Uxbridge, bringing our iconic flavours to locals for the first time. As we continue our rapid expansion across the UK, a huge thank you goes out to our loyal customers and dedicated teams. We’re on target to reach 60 locations by year-end — momentum is strong and this is only the beginning.”
