VidantaWorld’s BON, which bills itself as the world’s ‘first luxury theme park’, has announced an official soft opening date ahead of the park’s public debut next year.
Found within the massive 2,500 acre VidantaWorld Vallarta vacation destination, located just minutes away from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport in Mexico, the Beauty of Nature (BON) theme park will soft open on 24 October. The property will initially be available exclusively to VidantaWorld guests ahead of the public opening in April 2027.
The theme park is just the latest addition to the sprawling resort, which already houses the BON luxury hotel, multiple dining venues, a golf course and regular Cirque du Soleil performances.
BON is said to draw its inspiration from the natural beauty of Mexico, including its “lush jungles, shimmering lagoons and dramatic landscapes”, as well as the country’s “rich mythology and imagination”, according to a press release. Rather than relying on pre-existing intellectual property, BON is creating its own entertainment universe with original characters and stories coming to life throughout the park.
At soft opening, BON will welcome guests to five of the seven themed lands: Laguna Feliz, Celebration Lagoon, Crystal Star Plaza, Discovery Jungle and Adventure Valley. When complete, the park will feature more than 20 attractions alongside multiple restaurants, lounges, shows and retail offerings.
