Wylder Windham in New York is scheduled to open in August 2022 in the former Thompson House Resort.
Sitting on 20 acres of land, Wylder Windham follows the openings of Wylder Hope Valley in 2020 and Wylder Tilghman Island in 2018.
It features 110 combined rooms, a heated swimming pool, on-site restaurant and bakery, and 4,000sq ft of private event space. On-site activities include lawn games, tree swings, fire pits, electric bikes, a dog run and more.
A range of accommodation is available, from lodges, inns, manors and cottages. Brooklyn-based design firm Post Company and local architect Jason Anderson helped redesign the buildings, with local craftsmen from Baxter Built helping with the rebuild.
The largest of accommodation types is The Pines Inn (28 rooms), followed by The Evergreen Lodge (25 rooms), The Tamarack Lodge (16 rooms), The Manor and The Spruce Cottage (14 rooms each), The Main Lodge (13 rooms), and The Farmhouse (one key residence).
Babblers is the site’s main restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Babbler’s bar serves cocktails, local beer and wine, and Babblers Bakery sits adjacent to the restaurant.
