Luckin Coffee has reported another quarter of double-digit revenue growth as the chain continued to focus on expanding its footprint.
The company lifted its net revenues by 32.9 per cent to US$1.8bn in the fourth quarter, which ended on 31 December.
The growth was powered by net new store openings of 1,834, including 1,792 in China, 13 in Singapore, 25 in Malaysia and four in the US. Total store count at the end of the period was 31,048, comprising 20,234 company-operated stores and 10,814 partnership locations.
Same-store sales growth for company-operated stores was 1.2 per cent, an improvement from a 3.4 per cent decline in the year-ago period. Gross merchandise value (GMV) rose 32.8 per cent during the quarter. Average monthly transacting customers increased by 26.5 per cent.
“Our 2025 results reflect the strength of our scale-focused execution, as we achieved robust growth amid shifting market dynamics,” said Jinyi Guo, Co-Founder and CEO of Luckin Coffee. “We finished the year strong, reaching our 30,000th-store milestone and expanding our cumulative transacting customer base to over 450 million. This expanded scale reinforced our market leadership and further strengthened our ability to capture the structural tailwinds of China’s coffee market, where competitive advantages are increasingly defined by end-to-end operational and systematic capabilities,” Guo added.
