The outdoor apparel brand Cotopaxi, based in Salt Lake City, has opened its latest retail location in a well-known tourism hub.
The business has selected Jackson Hole, Wyoming as the location for its new store. Located in the city’s historic Town Square, the new Cotopaxi store features outerwear, backpacks, travel accessories and more.
Cotopaxi operates more than 20 stores globally, including flagships in Boston; Park City, Utah; Portland, Oregon; Denver and Kyoto, Japan. The company said that Jackson Hole was a “natural choice” for a brick-and-mortar retail presence. The city is famous for its ski resorts, wildlife and proximity to the Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks.
“We’re honoured to plant roots in such a storied and vibrant setting,” said Lindsay Shumlas, who has served as CEO of Cotopaxi since October 2024. “Jackson’s blend of outdoor passion, environmental stewardship and artistic spirit is deeply aligned with Cotopaxi’s mission. We look forward to outfitting both locals and adventurers passing through and to participating in this community in a meaningful way.”
