The specialty retailer of hard surface flooring and related accessories for homeowners and professionals is opening its first store in the Pittsburgh area, in the southern suburb of Bethel Park, on April 2. The new location store will open with a team of approximately 40 full-time and part-time associates.
Earlier this year, Floor & Decor announced plans to open 20 warehouse stores in 2026. On the retailer’s fourth-quarter earnings call, executives said the retailer aims to have a footprint in every major U.S. market by the end of the first quarter of fiscal 2027, with a long-term goal of 500 warehouse-format stores.
At Floor & Decor stores, shoppers can find a broad assortment of in-stock hard-surface flooring, including tile, wood, laminate, vinyl and natural stone, along with decorative accessories and wall tile, installation materials and related categories.
“Bringing Floor & Decor to the Pittsburgh area is an exciting milestone for our team,” said Travis Wessels, the Bethel Park store’s chief executive merchant. “For more than 20 years, we’ve focused on making quality hard surface flooring and tile accessible to everyone, and we’re proud to extend that commitment to this community. We look forward to serving our new customers and helping bring their ideas to life.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Floor & Decor operated 270 warehouse-format stores and five design studios across 39 states at the end of fiscal 2025.
