The company has opened its first stand-alone store in Beijing’s Sanlitun district, inspired by the nearby Forbidden City’s imperial architecture.
Designed by RDAI in collaboration with Mamou-Mani Architects, the five-storey glass building is wrapped in rose-pink and terracotta ceramic tiles, arranged in a rhythmic sequence that allows natural light to fill the interior.
Inside, the ground floor brings together silk collections, equestrian pieces and jewellery, set against mosaic flooring inspired by the brand’s Faubourg design language.
Meanwhile, the second floor houses women’s and men’s ready-to-wear alongside footwear, with fitting rooms and a private salon.
On the third level, materials including wood marquetry, lacquered walls with peony motifs and ceramic brickwork frame displays for homeware, leather goods, watches and jewellery.
