Luxury footwear label Golden Goose has opened its largest flagship store in APAC, located in Beijing’s Taikoo Li retail precinct.
Spanning 475sq m, the store is described as a “faithful reconstruction” of the brand’s Haus in Marghera, Venice, featuring industrial textures and archival design elements that reflect its original concept.
On the ground floor, the cobbler area recreates the atmosphere of a traditional Venetian bottega, complete with original archive shelving, a co-creation table and a Con Amore gifting corner.
A central staircase connects the space, which the brand describes as a transition from Venice to Beijing and leads to the first floor, where the library concept from the Marghera headquarters is reinterpreted. Meanwhile, the upper level includes a bespoke sneaker area and made-to-measure tailoring services, as well as a private VIP space featuring a vinyl listening room.
“More than a destination, this flagship serves as a communal hearth for workshops, events and creative rituals, seamlessly weaving our Venetian roots into a forward-facing chapter of our journey in China,” the company said.
