The site reopened to guests on Monday, 20 April at 5pm after a temporary closure following official guidance.
Global Village had remained closed since late February as a precautionary safety measure. The operator had repeatedly said the destination would remain shut “until further notice” while it monitored the situation and followed official guidance.
The Dubai attraction, part of Dubai Holding Entertainment, is one of the UAE’s largest seasonal destinations. Season 30 features 30 cultural pavilions representing more than 90 countries, alongside more than 3,500 retail outlets, over 250 dining options, hundreds of live performances and more than 200 rides and games at Carnaval.
