South Korean fashion label Matin Kim has opened a flagship in Japan’s capital, Tokyo, as part of its partnership with Musinsa.
Located in the popular fashion district of Harajuku, the flagship covers approximately 195sq m across two floors. The store, which opened on 26 April, is the brand’s third location in Japan, following Shibuya and Nagoya and the first standalone store.
According to the brand, the flagship store is a step forward from its earlier locations in shopping malls. It will also serve as a hub for showcasing Matin Kim’s identity and creative vision. Aside from the brand’s general assortment, the space will showcase its latest Spring/Summer 2026 collection and exclusive limited-edition items. In addition, the store aims to provide customers with a deeper brand experience through experiential events and other activities.
Matin Kim is an investment brand of Hago Haus, a leading brand incubator in South Korea. The label has approximately 70 domestic and international locations. In November 2024, Matin Kim signed an exclusive agency agreement with Musinsa for the Japanese market. The brand opened its first permanent store in Japan at Miyashita Park in Tokyo’s Shibuya last April.
