The St. Regis San Francisco is pleased to announce the debut of The Spa at The St. Regis San Francisco, an oasis of wellbeing where elevated design, timeless rituals and advanced wellness treatments create an immersive environment for relaxation and restoration.

Designed by San Francisco-based TEF Design in collaboration with Italy-based architect Gio Pagani, the space reflects the elegance and sophistication of the St. Regis experience while complementing the urban downtown context. Occupying approximately 9,000sq ft on the hotel’s fifth and sixth levels, the spa features cedar saunas, eucalyptus steam rooms, a Himalayan Salt Room, separate men’s and women’s relaxation lounges and dressing rooms, all designed to encourage renewal of body and mind.
Circular architectural motifs inspired by the neighbouring San Francisco Museum of Modern Art are woven throughout the design and extend the visual language introduced in the hotel’s recently reimagined indoor pool, also designed by TEF Design in collaboration with Gio Pagani. Warm wood panelling, bespoke millwork, textured wallcoverings in rich earth tones and soft lighting details create a sense of tranquillity and elegance, transforming the spa into a retreat that feels both intimate and distinctly St. Regis.
At the heart of the experience are the distinctive rituals unique to St. Regis Spas worldwide. Each visit begins with a gracious welcome at the Celebration Bar – a hallmark of the St. Regis Spa experience globally, uniquely interpreted at each destination – where guests may enjoy Champagne, fresh-pressed juice, sparkling water, tea and effervescent cocktails. The bespoke signature Scent Bar allows guests to select a preferred fragrance that becomes a subtle sensory thread woven throughout the treatment. Services begin with an individualised opening ritual and conclude with a realigning closing ritual, reinforcing seamless transitions and the anticipatory care that defines the St. Regis legacy.
