Pretty Ballerinas Lands New Osaka Store

A shoe brand under the Spanish Mascaro Group, Pretty Ballerinas, is expanding its presence in the Japanese market with the opening of its fourth boutique in Japan.

Located in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, this boutique follows the three stores already operating in Tokyo. Situated within the Quartz Shinsaibashi shopping complex facing Midosuji Avenue, this opening will mark the brand’s strengthening of its position in the premium segment of the Japanese market.

“We believe that opening a store in a luxury area is essential for increasing brand awareness and connecting with customers who have a keen sense of fashion and design,” said David Bell, Director of Commercial and Business Expansion for Mascaro and Pretty Ballerinas.

The store, the brand’s first in Osaka, features an interior based on the brand’s “Pretty Chocolate Box” concept, characterised by a colour scheme of powder pink and powder white and a design incorporating antique-style mirrors and pendant lamps. The brand also stated in the release that it aims to provide customers with an “immersive experience” in which the space, the way the collection is presented and personalised service are essential elements of the shopping experience.

This opening is part of Pretty Ballerinas’ strategic plan for international expansion, focusing on both new store openings and renovations of existing stores. According to the company, Japan is one of its top priority markets, alongside the Middle East and Spain.
