Ossiano, Cloud 22 and Plato’s Lounge are set to undergo refurbishments as part of a major enhancement plan at Atlantis Dubai.
The enhancements, unveiled yesterday, come as part of the brand’s continued investments into guest experience. At Atlantis The Palm, Plato’s lounge will be expanded and extended into the main lobby, with a new terrace balcony added. The extension, which is due to open in October 2026, will mean there will be double the amount of seating available, while there will also be a new accessible ramped pathway and a new cascading water feature.
Meanwhile, renowned restaurant Ossiano is to undergo a “comprehensive refurbishment” designed to further elevate the experience and create a “more immersive” setting for guests.
At Atlantis The Royal, a new outdoor lounge, The Garden Bar, will be introduced to increase outdoor seating space, while Cloud 22 will be reconfigured to maximise space and the panoramic view. Cloud 22’s The Lotus Bar will be relocated to the opposite side of the venue to allow for an expanded sunbed deck – with room for around 40 more sun loungers.
The Royal Pool is to receive an upgrade with new family facilities – including cabanas and in-pool loungers – and additional sunbeds. Meanwhile, Aquaventure World has undergone an extensive park-wide refurbishment, which includes a new restaurant – Poseidon’s Village – set to be the park’s largest indoor dining destination.
Poseidon’s Village will take over the space that previously held Barracudas and will be able to accommodate nearly 400 guests indoors and a further 300 outside. The venue will feature self-service ordering kiosks and sunbed ordering as well as a new menu with salad bowls, vegan options, a loaded hot dog bar and oven-baked pizzas – as well as revamped kids’ menu options.
There will also be upgrades to the Palm Pool and Royal Pool, as well as expansions to Atlantis’ fashion and lifestyle retail offerings.
“Atlantis Dubai prides itself on its continuous evolution and these enhancements reflect our commitment to investing in the future of the destination and the experiences we create for our guests,” said Kym Barter, Managing Director of Atlantis Dubai.
