Portland will soon have a burger place with more options. BurgerIM, a gourmet hamburger restaurant, lists a location in Portland on its website, just above a button that reads “coming soon.” The eatery will be at 1502-1600 Wildcat Drive & U.S Highway 181, near the old K-Mart department store in the shopping center.
BurgerIM’s menu includes small burgers with a 3 oz. patties in your choice of protein and toppings. “Because our burgers are smaller than the average gourmet burger, we serve them in packs of 1, 2, 3, or 16 — which gives you the freedom to try a unique combination every time you dine with us,” its website states. The burger chain has opened more than 160 locations around the world in its first five years of business.
A Burgerim opened on South Staples Street in Corpus Christi in January. That Southside restaurant has beer, wine and desserts on the menu.
