The launch follows Six Flags Qiddiya City, which welcomed guests in December 2025, creating a two-park entertainment core inside the wider Qiddiya City development.
Aquarabia opened to the public at Qiddiya City last week, adding Saudi Arabia’s first and largest water theme park to the Kingdom’s leisure infrastructure pipeline.
Qiddiya Investment Company confirms the destination opened from 12pm last Thursday, with daily operating hours running to 8pm. Friday access is reserved for women and children, with programming delivered by all-female staff.
Qiddiya City sits 45km from downtown Riyadh and 70km from King Khalid International Airport. The wider destination spans more than 360sq km across more than 20 neighbourhoods, with 400 attractions, 275 rides, 12 theme parks and 43 sports facilities planned across the city.
Aquarabia covers 250,000sq m and contains 22 rides and experiences across eight themed zones. Qiddiya lists 91 luxury cabanas at the park, with seven dry rides available for guests not using water attractions.
Qiddiya identifies four world record-breaking attractions inside Aquarabia. Ride inventory includes Junoon Drop, billed as the world’s tallest and longest water coaster and Slithereel, listed as the world’s longest slide wheel.
