The Peruvian beauty retailer has officially entered the Colombian market with the opening of its first physical store in the Gran Estación shopping centre in Bogotá.
“This moment marks the beginning of a new era for the beauty industry in the country and I’m excited to know that it’s just the beginning. We will continue taking beauty to the next level and above all, closer to people. Our mission is to offer the highest quality products and services, with a warm, friendly and memorable experience,” the company announced.
The new store in Colombia features the same line, essence and image as Aruma’s portfolio in Peru; the pink cube, with glass and direct lighting which draws customers’ attention and immerses them in a universe of beauty.
As part of its internationalisation strategy, in 2024 Aruma acquired the Prosalon chain in Colombia, owner of the Cromantic and Blind beauty chains, with nearly 100 points of sale in the country.
“We are committed to continuing to grow together. Today was the first step; very soon we will be in Medellín, Cali,” he concluded. Aruma is making the leap abroad after seven years of presence in its domestic market.
Currently, the brand has 120 stores and commercial spaces in the Peruvian market.
