Japanese fashion and lifestyle retailer Beams is set to open a flagship store in Los Angeles as it expands its presence in the US market.
The new location will span about 1,250sq m across a single floor and is intended to serve as a key base for the company’s operations in North America while introducing its fashion and lifestyle concept to a broader US audience.
The store will offer a wide assortment of products, including apparel, accessories and lifestyle goods, reflecting the retailer’s curated ‘select shop’ format that combines its own labels with items sourced from a range of brands.
As part of its expansion plans, the company has also established Beams America, which will oversee regional operations and support retail development and wider brand initiatives in the US.
Beams launched an e-commerce site for the market last year, whilst also testing consumer demand through three pop-up stores in Los Angeles.
