In collaboration with LUXASIA Indonesia, a local retail partner, BYREDO’s first boutique has opened at Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta’s ultimate shopping centre dedicated to high-end indulgence.
The interior design aligns with the brand’s understated aesthetic, featuring a monumental stone frame which ties in with a monumental granite display which takes centre stage. The display effortlessly defines the rhythm of the interior, turning scent into both object and architecture. It’s flanked on one side by a recessed, timber-clad shelving and storage unit, while opposite a large backlit visual aligns with four metal-framed glass cabinets laden with merchandise.
At the back of the BYREDO store, a cozy nook comes with a large ottoman providing shoppers with seating, followed by an intimate lounge, distinctively captured by burgundy-lacquered wood panels. Here, furnishings are equally few, comprising merely of a small stone clad display and storage cabinet with a glass top and a matching demonstration sink, which tie in with the large display in the front section, while a recessed shelving unit presents more olfactory merchandise. Large terrazzo tile flooring unites both distinctly designed store sections. The new BYREDO store carries the full range of fragrances and scented candles, in addition to the complete collection of hand and body care products.
