A carpet retailer has opened a new 10,800 square foot warehouse to the public after several years of “booming business”. Valley Carpets and Flooring has opened the unit on Mannaberg Way in Scunthorpe following a major investment.
Owner Matt Krebs said the new facility meant more stock could now be seen by customers. He said: “We’re had a great few years’ business at the shop in Burringham Road, and we had so much stock which customers weren’t able to see, so we decided to open up this.
‘We opened last Monday and since then we’ve had a really good response. Customers can now browse the quarter of a million pounds of stock we have here.’
