City of the Future to Welcome Cordis and Ying’nFlo

Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) has signed a management agreement with China Xiong’an Group Public Service Management Company to bring two of its brands – Cordis Hotels & Resorts and Ying’nFlo – to Xiong’an New Area.

This upcoming state-level development in northern China is being built to support the next phase of growth in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

Often dubbed China’s “City of the Future”, the destination will soon be home to a growing mix of administrative, commercial and cultural institutions to be relocated from Beijing, alongside a broad network of civic amenities and public spaces. Xiong’an is also emerging as a centre for sporting and large-scale events, supported by the development of dedicated venues and community-focused facilities, underpinned by strong transport links with neighbouring cities.

The project represents a significant step in LHG’s China expansion strategy, reinforcing its presence in the country’s north. It additionally showcases the Group’s ability to combine its upscale, full-service Cordis brand with its upper-midscale, select-service Ying’nFlo brand within a single integrated complex designed to cater to a broad range of travel needs.

Scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2028, the complex will span a total gross floor area of 23,700sq m. Cordis, Xiong’an will occupy approximately 16,000sq m of the space and house 180 guestrooms. Like all Cordis properties, the hotel will embody the brand’s heartfelt service philosophy and embrace its new “Let Your Heart Rule” ethos aimed at inspiring travellers to pursue their passions, forge authentic connections and be guided what truly moves them.

Ying’nFlo, Xiong’an will take up 7,700sq m of the complex and house 120 guestrooms. The property will reflect the brand’s distinctive positioning as a sociable, lifestyle-led platform for a new generation of travellers, combining simple, design-led spaces with an emphasis on flexibility and ease of use. Communal areas will be designed to encourage interaction, offering a series of adaptable environments where guests can stay, work and socialise, while also serving as welcoming hubs for the surrounding community.

“We are delighted to partner with China Xiong’an Group Public Service Management Company to bring Cordis and Ying’nFlo to Xiong’an New Area,” Langham Hospitality Group CEO Bob van den Oord said. “As the city takes shape, we believe our dual-brand approach will be well-suited to support the broad range of travel needs that will accompany its growth.”
