Costa Coffee has appointed Savills, the international real estate advisor, to advise on its ambitious nationwide high street and shopping centre acquisition plans. This appointment marks 20 years of collaboration, as Costa Coffee continues to invest in a growing on-the-go coffee market.
Savills has worked with Costa Coffee on its high street expansion across the South West, Wales and Scotland for close to 20 years, and now the operator has extended the remit nationwide, excluding inside the M25. With a renewed focus on the high street and shopping centres, Costa Coffee is looking to maximise the customer experience, with Savills looking for new stores, relocations and upsize opportunities to facilitate this.
This forms part of Savills’ ongoing work, supporting Costa Coffee across a range of formats including drive-thru, drive-to, and travel-focused locations. The advisor is actively seeking new opportunities in prominent roadside and retail park settings, with suitable parking provision.
Costa Coffee continues to expand its drive-thru and retail park presence and is aiming for further growth throughout the year.
Tom Falk, Head of Property at Costa Coffee, adds: “Costa Coffee has ambitious growth plans over the coming years, both in terms of opening new stores and optimising our existing estate.
