Coty Launches Fragrance Concept Store in Hong Kong

The global fragrance giant Coty has launched a new and unique retail concept store in Mong Kok, Hong Kong.

The My Scent Edit store at Langham Beauty is a multi-brand store, filled with interactive experiences for customers. It includes AI-powered digital consultations, trial zones and an AI photobooth.

Coty’s use of AI comes after it announced a collaboration with OpenAI, to expand the use of ChatGPT Enterprise within its business. At the time the partnership was announced, Coty said its employees will gain access to OpenAI’s most capable models, supporting daily work and “cross-functional” collaboration.

“Human expertise remains central to Coty’s approach, with AI serving as an efficiency enhancer for the creativity and strategic thinking that defines its brands,” the announcement added.

The company’s presence in Hong Kong includes another multi-brand concept, Citi Scent, in Tsim Sha Tsui. Alongside this, the company distributes through department stores such as Lane Crawford and Sogo, as well as through retailer partners Sephora Hong Kong, Sasa, Mannings and Watsons.
