Acclaimed French chef Cyril Lignac announces that Bar des Prés Mayfair, originally the concept’s first international venture, will be relocating to a new address on South Audley Street.
Officially opening on 7 May 2026, the restaurant’s menu will continue to feature signature selections of its most famed dishes, bringing its distinctive blend of French savoir-faire and East-Asian influence to this new address. This announcement follows the news of Cyril Lignac also opening Bar Des Prés in New York and following the opening of the concept in St Barts.
The menu at Bar des Prés will continue to reflect Cyril Lignac’s signature culinary language, showcasing seasonal and expertly sourced ingredients. The offering balances lightness and depth, from delicate sushi and sashimi to vibrant small plates, elegant seafood and carefully executed meat dishes.
The interiors of the new South Audley Street location have been conceived by Lázaro Rosa Violán Studio. They are an ode to both design and gastronomy, creating a richly immersive, yet balanced, environment. Natural materials such as marble and polished wood are paired with textiles embroidered with the brand’s signature peacock motif, while silk-toned walls envelop the space in warmth and understated elegance. A dialogue between French decorative tradition and East-Asian precision runs throughout, from sculptural lighting to a colour palette of deep reds and blues that enhances both intimacy and identity. As guests move through the space, the atmosphere evolves into more private dining areas, reinforcing Bar des Prés as a meeting point of cultures where every detail contributes to a cohesive, sensory experience.
Hidden discreetly behind the restaurant, The Salon at Bar des Prés offers an elegant and intimate setting for private dining and special celebrations. The space can be fully privatised to host up to 30 guests across three tables or 22 guests on a single table, while a semi-private option accommodates up to 12 guests. Guests can enjoy a curated selection of canapés by Chef Cyril Lignac, featuring signature creations or opt for a more formal seated experience with dishes from the à la carte menu and Bar des Prés favourites.
