In September 2018, MATCHESFASHION.COM opened 5
Carlos Place, a 7,000sq ft townhouse in Mayfair, London. A new
concept in luxury, Carlos Place blends commerce, culture and content
to create an innovative space that is both a physical location and a
global digital destination. While customers can purchase clothes and
accessories, they’re as likely to attend a talk with a designer, take part in
a flower arranging class or enjoy a meal at a supper club.
Brookfield Properties in partnership with Skylight, debuted on Sep-
tember 24, 2018 LOVE, BLEECKER: A ground-breaking project to stim-
ulate a revitalisation of Bleecker Street and create a reimagined urban
landscape at the intersection of art, commerce, and culture. Skylight
has assembled a collective of thoughtful and creative brands, and in
partnership with Eyesight Group they have paired each with an in-
novative contemporary artist to create site-specific art installations in
several storefronts.

Berlin, Germany
Mercedes Platz is an ambitious mixed-use entertainment district in
Berlin, anchored by the Mercedes-Benz Arena to the North of the site
and the East Side Gallery and the River Spree on the South. The project
is set just across from the East Side Gallery, the largest remaining part
of the Berlin wall, the project is in a historically rich and sensitive area.

Every night, from November 19th to January 6th, an awe inspiring
light show was presented to the public on the façade of famed Saks
Fifth Avenue department store in the heart of New York City. The
2018 Saks Holiday Light show was re-imagined into a spectacular
theatrical masterpiece. Evoking the glamour of a Broadway “must see”
production, the show included a new song, new programming, and
over 8,200 additional colour changing marquee lights orchestrated to
transform the façade.

Last year, award-winning experience design company, KCC Enter-
tainment, celebrated the opening of the Wanda Nanjing Indoor Theme
Park in China. The park is the entertainment hub of a brand new
mixed-use development by the country’s Wanda Group. It marks the
latest collaboration between KCC Entertainment and China’s largest
real estate and cultural development corporation. Alongside the theme
park, the wider development comprises a shopping mall, hotel, restau-
rant and residential accommodation.
