Going to the gym is so on-trend right now, given it’s the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2019 and we’re getting repeated health kicks for the next few weeks. So it’s music to our sweaty ears that there’s another top-notch new gym open in Dubai, and we can’t wait to check it out.
Platform Studios has opened in DIFC, and it’s the second Dubai branch for the swanky, purpose-built studio. The 10,000 sq ft studio is now open in Index Towers in DIFC, and features state-of-the-art, high-tech facilities, including five studios (into each of which a live DJ can pipe through some live tunes), fingerprint-scanning check-in, plus in-app booking, and more.
There are loads of different types of class to book, too, including spin, HIIT, boxing and what’s called the “30×30” (fitting, given it’s currently the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2019), which are two 30-minute classes back to back.
Variety is key with fitness, so there are 40 different types of class to choose from in all. Prices for new members start from Dhs105 for two classes, then there are packages available at a special rate throughout November.
