HQ Hotels & Residences by sbe, the innovative lifestyle hospitality brand created by visionary global hospitality leader Sam Nazarian in partnership with global icon Marc Anthony, is pleased to announce that it will bring its distinctive luxury lifestyle to the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia in November 2026 with the opening of HQ Cas En Bas Resort and Residences by sbe, a Registry Collection Hotel.
This latest signing, in partnership with UK-based developer Wellington Estates, marks the second HQ Residences to be announced since the launch of HQ Miami Edgewater Residences. The news is on the heels of the opening of HQ’s first US hotel, the 34 key Monarch New Orleans, as well as Hodges Bay Resort & Spa in Antigua earlier this year. With three more resorts slated to open by the end of 2026, HQ Hotels & Residences will have seven resorts and residences open by year’s end.
HQ Cas En Bas Resort and Residences will comprise 96 freehold studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments, all bordering one of the longest swimming pools on the island. Preliminary planning has also been granted for an additional 82 residences on an adjacent plot, which will introduce enhanced five-star amenities, including an elevated pool, spa, wellness centre and gym. Residences will feature high ceilings, in-suite bathrooms, well-equipped kitchens, private balconies and bespoke furnishings, offering a refined island living experience. The $130M development is already over 90 per cent sold to buyers from around the world, including international investors, local purchasers and hoteliers. In total, the development will add 178 keys to the island’s luxury hospitality inventory and is expected to generate up to 300 permanent jobs.
