Kiabi is Entering the Argentinian Market

The French fashion chain Kiabi has confirmed its entry into the Argentinian market and plans to open at least six stores there within the next twelve months.

The brand, which focuses on affordable, mainstream fashion, will face increased competition in the textile sector. It hopes to stand out thanks to a wide selection of items and a strategy based on value for money.

Kiabi’s expansion plan includes opening stores in shopping malls and city centres. The outlets will have a surface area of approximately 1,200sq m, the format the brand typically uses in its other markets, allowing it to bring together a wide range of product categories in one space.

The company has not yet announced the exact opening date of its first store in the country, but sources close to the matter indicate that the inauguration should take place in the coming months. Kiabi will then continue its expansion in other provinces of the country.
