Kopi Kenangan Enters India

Indonesian coffee chain Kopi Kenangan has made its foray into India under the brand name Kenangan Coffee.

The first Kenangan Coffee store, located in Delhi’s Pacific Mall, serves coffee made with Gula Aren, a natural palm sugar used as “a healthier alternative to refined sugars”.

The brand aims to launch more than 10 additional locations by the end of this year and 50 stores in the short term.

“India’s vast young population and growing appreciation for diverse coffee experiences make it an ideal market for Kenangan Coffee,” said Edward Tirtanata, Co-Founder & Group CEO of Kenangan Brands. “We are committed to delivering high-quality coffee that resonates with local preferences, creating memorable moments for every customer.”

Founded in 2017, Kopi Kenangan is backed by B Capital by Eduardo Saverin and has expanded to more than 1,000 outlets across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.
