The well-known and fast-growing retailer has opened Lids HD at Los Cerritos Center, a shopping centre in Cerritos, California.
The 1,055sq ft store will lean into key trends with exclusive and limited-availability headwear products. It’s the fourth physical location for the concept, with the first opening in Queens, New York. (The others are in Houston and St Louis.)
In 2022, Lids unveiled Lids HatDrop.com, an online site featuring limited-edition and exclusive headwear collections, with products dropped twice weekly. In keeping with the online concept, Lids HD stores feature exclusive and limited-edition hat drops and cater to both headwear enthusiasts as well those who are just starting to build their collections.
At the Los Cerritos store, digital screens showcase Lids’ content and highlight the latest product drops. Shoppers can also customise their headwear with an array of designs. The store also displays a mural made by multimedia artist Joshua Vides.
