Start-up brand Meet in Place has launched its first UK venue. The brand seeks to make up for the lack of private meeting places created by the growth of open plan offices, co-working spaces, and freelance working.
Founder Yaron Kopel is a serial entrepreneur and was previously head of innovation and design at Sodastream. He sees Meet in Place as an alternative to crowded coffee shops or costly hotel conference rooms. The first UK branch is on King William Street in London.
“The best way to describe Meet in Place is a ‘boutique hotel for meeting rooms,” says Kopel. “Big companies, freelancers, and travelling businessmen all use our various specially designed meeting spaces. Our prime locations come equipped with the best technology and are serviced by a dedicated team of experience managers.”
The London branch has 19 meeting rooms in four categories. Interiors feature furniture by designers Todd Bracher and Tom Dixon.
