Multi Corporation Closing Agreement for 5.500 sqm in Stadsfeestzaal


Multi Corporation has concluded an agreement with retail platform RetailDetail for the establishment of ‘The Future of Shopping’ in Shopping Stadsfeestzaal in the city center of Antwerp.

‘The Future of Shopping’ is a unique laboratory, where retail chains and technology companies test the very latest concepts together. The innovative project covers two floors of a total of 5,500 m 2 and will open its doors to the public in early 2020.

‘The Future of Shopping’ will measure and analyze the shopping behavior of their visitors within the set frameworks of privacy legislation.Research is conducted into how consumers respond to technological innovations such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, biometrics and face recognition, interactive communication systems, mobile payment applications and digital loyalty systems. Retailers will also try out new products, innovative store formulas and innovative services in practice. Together they prepare for the future, where shopping will be a mix of physical and digital experiences, a fusion of experience and convenience, of emotion and technology.
