After testing out a pop-up and events, One-OneThousand, a maker space and creative studio, is planning to open a permanent retail shop called good day shop in its warehouse and studio space on the east side.
According to a blog post written by Founder Sarah Artz, she is opening the shop so customers can come in and shop for home and lifestyle goods throughout the year as opposed to just at markets and events.
“The last couple of years, I’ve explored ways to sell the goods of the people and brands that inspire and delight me everyday,” Artz says in her post. “Through pop-ups and events, I’ve been playing, testing and learning what objects and stories get people excited and wanting to know more about the why — how — who goes into the things they covet, hold close and share.”
