Prada has opened a new store in Aventura, Florida, located inside the city’s premier shopping destination, Aventura Mall. The concept of the boutique is defined by a bright facade bathed in backlight, with crisscrossing lines creating green triangular motifs that echo the brand’s classic logo. The entrance, framed with large windows, allows a glimpse into an exclusive and singular space of over 4,000 square feet.
The interior is imbued with tradition through design codes signature to the brand. The iconic pastel green tone envelops the walls of the interior, while the black-and-white checkered marble floor, inspired by the original Prada boutique in Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, features throughout. Wooden paravents add richness and warmth, while elegant seating in grey and sage velvet completes the space.
For the current season, the women’s ready-to-wear selection alternates casual and formal – light knitwear and tailored shirting are layered over delicate lingerie and bikinis in stretch poplin. The handbag selection presents crochet styles, hand-worked with rope detailing, along with iconic silhouettes in nappa leather and Re-Nylon. The footwear offering includes leather and crochet sandals, the timeless Prada America’s Cup sneaker, as well as a selection of loafers and mules in brushed leather.
The men’s ready-to-wear selection is characterised by combinations of formal wear and sportswear for an effortless summer mood. Classic garments are offered in elevated fabrics ranging from soft knits to bold Re-Nylon pieces, while versatile options in vibrant prints and colourful stripes allude to a playful style.
Footwear includes sandals and loafers from smooth suede and calfskin, adding softness and lightness to traditional shapes. Signature sneakers, along with new styles characterized by sleek minimalism, round out the offering. Accessories comprise styles in classic Re-Nylon, luxurious Vitello Daino, and Saffiano leather variations, alongside travel pieces that combine function and elegance through meticulous design.
