The earlier opening underlines confidence in consumer appetite for value-led retail in Dubai, where residents and tourists are increasingly balancing premium spending with price-conscious purchases.
Primark has brought forward the opening of its third Dubai store at Mall of the Emirates to 21 May, accelerating its UAE expansion as demand for the low-cost fashion retailer continues to build among shoppers in the Emirate.
The fast-fashion chain, known for budget clothing, accessories and homeware, had previously indicated a later opening timeline for the new branch. The revised launch date underlines confidence in consumer appetite for value-led retail in Dubai, where residents and tourists are increasingly balancing premium spending with price-conscious purchases.
The Mall of the Emirates outlet will become Primark’s latest location in the UAE following the brand’s earlier Dubai launches, which drew strong footfall and long queues as shoppers sought lower-priced alternatives to established high street names.
Its debut store in Dubai Mall drew thousands of shoppers on its opening weekend and even saw a visit from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Ruler of Dubai.
