There’s now a new beachfront destination in Doha, with restaurants, pool and a women-only zone – set to appeal to a range of beachgoers.
Nami Beach was announced by Qatar Tourism on 23 April as a premium beachfront spot and is now open, having been developed in collaboration with Loft A Trading and Contracting. The destination can be found on Diplomatic Street and includes Nami Ladies – a ladies-only area.
Qatar Tourism says it introduces a ‘refined seaside experience in the heart of Doha’. ‘Nami Beach is now open to the public, further strengthening Qatar’s position as a destination offering diverse, high-quality lifestyle and leisure experiences,’ read a statement from Qatar Tourism on X.
‘Inspired by coastal calm’ Nami Beach is placed as a premium destination with lush greenery, an infinity pool and stretches of sand. When it comes to dining, restaurants include Nami Greek – promising fresh ingredients, classic recipes and a relaxed seaside atmosphere. There’s also Olive Green, a relaxed all-day dining spot for sandwiches, juices and light bites. Meanwhile, Nami Ladies is billed as a ‘women-only sanctuary’ designed for comfort for women.
