Red Sea Global Unveils Laheq Island

Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind the regenerative tourism destinations, The Red Sea and AMAALA, has announced Laheq Island, a new luxury integrated resort island at The Red Sea, promising to bring island-lifestyle to Saudi Arabia for the first time.

Laheq marks the first plans beyond Phase One of The Red Sea that have been revealed to date. Scheduled to open in 2028 and designed by renowned architecture firm, Foster + Partners, Laheq Island offers a unique blend of luxury and sustainability. Residents and guests will experience private island luxury living with an enriching resort community that brings people together and fosters life-long bonds.

The island will feature private residences, two luxury resort hotels, a 115-berth marina, an 18-hole golf course and a bustling souq.

The island has been designed with a commitment to environmental preservation, including coral reef protection and mangrove planting. The Red Sea will be powered by 100 per cent renewable energy. It will offer exclusive access to a 400ha island with white sandy beaches and clear blue waters. Extensive amenities, entertainment and activities, including a marina, golf course and diverse dining experiences will also be available.
