Reitmans Debuts New Store Design

The longstanding Canadian women’s apparel retailer, as part of its 100th anniversary, is unveiling a new store design.

Designed by interior design studio Burdifilek as a “structured and intentional space”, the new design features a “warm and refined aesthetic” with open layouts, carefully considered lighting, rich textures and a clean palette, according to Reitmans.

The retailer added that the aim of the design is to strike a balance between clarity and emotion by creating a store experience where its products take centre stage. The new store concept will be rolled out across Canada beginning in 2027.

“This initiative reflects a natural evolution for Reitmans,” said Isabelle Bonin, VP of Marketing, E-Commerce and Visual Presentation at Reitmans. “We wanted to create a clear and intuitive environment that better showcases our collections and reflects our current fashion sensibility. It’s an experience designed to better support our customers and strengthen their connection to the brand.”
