The new Rolex store in Hong Kong occupies a purpose-built pavilion on the premises of K11 Musea, a large mixed-use complex in the harbour-side Tsim Sha Tsui neighbourhood.
Designed by acclaimed Tokyo-based design practice CURIOSITY, the structure is inspired by ‘A Muse by the Sea’, a tagline of the complex, and as such, it has been designed to be a source of creativity and wonder with a clear aquatic environment.
Comprising three circular sales areas and a private salon framed by bronze louvers and bezels and green stone flooring, each area fully express the immersive Rolex world. The ceiling lights, suspended above the sales areas, serve as more than just a source of illumination and are also designed to contribute to the aforementioned spatial wonder. The new Rolex store carries a wide range of watches, from professional to classic models.
